Join an award-winning, West Coast-based geotechnical and environmental consulting firm with a reputation for excellence and innovation. We are currently seeking a Professional Geologist (PG) with a strong background in environmental site investigations and remediation to support and lead a wide range of development and land use projects throughout Southern California.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), remedial investigations, and corrective action programs.
Oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and reporting requirements.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level staff.
Collaborate closely with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality, on-time, and on-budget results.
Qualifications
Professional Geologist (PG) license in California is required.
10+ years of experience in environmental consulting, including Phase I/II investigations and remedial activities.
Strong working knowledge of California environmental regulations and standards (e.g., DTSC, RWQCB).
Proven project management experience on large or complex sites.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead junior staff is highly desirable.
