Position Overview
A multidisciplinary design firm is seeking an experienced Project Architect to support its Senior Living studio. This role involves leading architectural design and documentation efforts, ensuring alignment with client goals, budget constraints, and project timelines. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with strong technical skills and a passion for creating environments that enhance quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and implement design strategies that align with project goals and performance standards.
- Oversee technical design development, documentation, and quality control across all project phases.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure cohesive and integrated project delivery.
- Produce accurate and complete schematic, design development, and construction documents.
- Conduct construction administration tasks including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Review shop drawings and materials for compliance with design intent.
- Manage project schedules and staffing in collaboration with project managers.
- Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative studio culture.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of professional architectural experience.
- Architectural licensure preferred.
- Prior experience in Senior Living or Hospitality design is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Revit and construction documentation.
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulatory standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead consultant coordination and document production.
Work Environment
This position is based in Denver, CO, with regular in-office collaboration required. Flexibility may be available, but it is not a fully remote role.
