Project Architect/Project Manager (K-12 or Healthcare)
We are seeking experienced, creative Project Managers / Project Architects with a passion for designing environments that enhance well-being and learning. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team working on healthcare and K-12 education projects across Massachusetts and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and documentation for small to midsize projects in healthcare and education.
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and staffing.
- Oversee construction documentation and ensure quality control.
- Coordinate with consultants and regulatory agencies.
- Present design concepts to clients and communities.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- 8-12+ years of experience in architectural design and/or project management.
- Licensed Architect (MA preferred).
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, MS Office Suite, and project management tools.
- Experience with healthcare or K-12 education projects (ideally both).
- Familiarity with Massachusetts public school design standards and healthcare regulations is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Sustainable design and LEED accreditation.
- Experience with high-performance building design.
- Ability to manage fee proposals and contracts.
- Knowledge of BIM workflows and construction administration.
