Job Description: As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, overseeing project documentation, and ensuring compliance with NAVFAC and/or USACE requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee construction projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with NAVFAC and/or USACE standards and regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team.
Experience Needed:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction project management.
- Proven experience with NAVFAC and/or USACE projects preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
- Experience in managing budgets, schedules, and project documentation.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
