Project Manager
Overview:
Our client is a well‑established national civil engineering firm with an active presence in Southern California. They are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager for their Los Angeles office who is interested in focusing primarily on project management, coordination, and delivery, rather than day‑to‑day engineering design. This role will support a steady pipeline of private land and site development projects while offering high visibility across the firm on some of its most impactful work.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in land or site development design and is ready to apply that experience in a project leadership capacity. This position offers meaningful growth potential, with a clear path toward senior leadership as the Los Angeles office and broader practice continue to expand.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $100,000-$170,000 base salary, depending on experience

Key Qualifications:
- 7+ years of civil engineering experience, with a background in land development or site development for private development projects
- Interest in focusing on project management, coordination, and client delivery rather than primary design production
- Experience managing projects through planning, entitlements, design, and construction support
- Ability to serve as a primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, including structural, MEP, electrical, civil, and fire protection disciplines
- Familiarity with project budgeting, scheduling, scope management, and internal team coordination
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- EIT, PE, or PMP preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Familiarity with Southern California permitting processes and agency coordination is a plus
