A nationally recognized engineering and environmental consulting firm is seeking a Water/Wastewater Practice Leader to drive the strategic growth and technical excellence of its water and wastewater services. This high-impact leadership role will shape the future of the firm's water infrastructure practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and expand the firm's Water/Wastewater Practice across all regions.
- Oversee operations, staff development, and project delivery for water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Collaborate with regional leaders to ensure quality, workload balance, and client satisfaction.
- Guide strategic decisions on market expansion, hiring, and resource allocation.
- Serve in key project roles such as Principal-in-Charge, Pursuit Champion, or Project Manager.
- Represent the firm at industry events and conferences to elevate national visibility.
- Foster cross-disciplinary collaboration with other business units and technical teams.
- Support client engagement strategies and ensure delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
- Minimum 12 years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
- At least 8 years in leadership or supervisory roles.
- Minimum 5 years in business development or client-facing roles.
- Demonstrated success in growing a practice and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Experience working with public utilities and municipal clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience in municipal water/wastewater systems.
- Familiarity with infrastructure funding programs and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with trenchless technologies, treatment systems, SCADA integration, and hydraulic modeling.
- Proficiency in tools such as InfoWater, SewerGEMS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and ArcGIS.
