Job Summary:
The Sales Manager - Wastewater Solutions is responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and developing strategic plans to expand market share within the wastewater treatment and management sector. This role involves leading a sales team, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with engineering, operations, and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions to municipal, industrial, and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in municipal, industrial, and commercial wastewater sectors.
- Analyze market data and competitor activity to refine sales tactics and positioning.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and provide customized wastewater treatment solutions.
- Conduct site visits, presentations, and product demonstrations as needed.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Set clear performance goals and provide coaching and feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
Product & Technical Knowledge
- Maintain deep understanding of wastewater treatment technologies, equipment, and services.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate and effective solution delivery.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, environmental standards, and emerging technologies.
Sales Operations
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and sales reports.
- Oversee proposal development, contract negotiations, and deal closure.

Marketing & Business Development

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA or MS in Environmental Science) preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of sales experience in the wastewater or environmental services industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing sales teams and complex client accounts.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Technical understanding of wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
