  • Review project specifications, drawings, and bid documents to fully understand scope and requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, sales, operations) to ensure accurate and competitive proposals
  • Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities within project scopes and proactively suggest solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to support accurate pricing
  • Participate in bid reviews, project handoffs, and client discussions as needed
  • Continuously improve estimating processes and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy

What They're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in building automation, controls, or a closely related field (estimating experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of BAS/DDC systems (Tridium/Niagara, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Delta Controls, etc.)
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, control schematics, and technical specifications
  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems and how they integrate with building automation
  • Experience working on large-scale commercial projects such as offices, hospitals, data centers, or industrial facilities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously
  • Effective communication skills and a team-oriented approach

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Fully Remote Flexibility: Work from anywhere while remaining part of a highly collaborative team

  • Growth Opportunity: Join a company that is expanding rapidly, offering clear paths for career progression
  • Collaborative Culture: Work alongside experienced professionals in an environment that values teamwork, input, and continuous improvement
  • Competitive Compensation: Salary up to $120K, with potential for additional incentives and long-term development

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to step into a role where they are trusted, supported, and given the autonomy to make an impact. You won't just be another estimator-you'll be a key contributor to the company's continued growth and success.
