A leading engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Bridge Project Manager Manager to lead and expand its Transportation and Structural Engineering practice in Florida. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience in structural design for transportation infrastructure, particularly with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and other local agencies. This role combines technical leadership, project management, business development, and team mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a multidisciplinary team of engineers, EITs, and CAD professionals.
- Oversee the design and technical execution of bridge and transportation infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across disciplines.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality assurance processes.
- Stay current with regulatory changes and agency requirements.
- Lead proposal development, scope definition, and resource planning.
- Participate in client meetings and conduct site visits (up to 25% travel).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida.
- Extensive experience with FDOT, Florida's Turnpike Enterprise, and CFX.
- Design-Build project experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results.
