About the Position
Seeking a BAS Design Engineer to join the team in a fully remote capacity. This role offers flexibility while requiring occasional travel for project meetings or site visits. You'll be responsible for creating complete submittal packages for building automation projects, with a strong focus on large-scale data center and mission critical environments.
What You'll Do
- Prepare detailed design documentation and submittals for building automation systems in mission-critical facilities such as data centers.
- Develop accurate system drawings and schematics using AutoCAD or Visio.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure compliance with project requirements and datacenter standards.
- Review specifications and translate them into clear technical documentation.
- Maintain organized records and deliver submittals on time.
- Work closely with a team of like-minded design engineers from across the country.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with building automation systems and HVAC controls.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Microsoft Visio.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities remotely.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with designing BAS Controls Systems.
- Experience with large-scale data center projects or mission-critical facilities.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Ability to travel occasionally for project needs.
