About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to join a family-owned electrical contracting business that values its employees and fosters a supportive, non-corporate culture. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for ground-up commercial and industrial projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
- Identify labor, material, and time requirements for projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on scope and pricing.
- Review and evaluate bid documents and proposals to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry pricing, codes, and standards.
- Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies during preconstruction phases.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in electrical estimating within the construction industry.
- Proven track record working for an electrical contractor on ground-up projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards.
- Proficiency with estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
