We're partnering with a leading engineering and infrastructure consultancy seeking an experienced senior leader to oversee the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects and drive the continued growth of a high-performing project delivery team.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Design Manager, Engineering Manager, Delivery Manager, Program Manager or Operations Leader with a strong background in infrastructure project delivery and multidisciplinary team leadership.
The Opportunity
Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for leading project delivery across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure programs, ensuring technical excellence, commercial performance, client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
The role combines people leadership, project governance, business development and strategic growth, making it ideal for someone who enjoys balancing operational delivery with broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering and project delivery teams
- Oversee the delivery of complex infrastructure projects from planning through to completion
- Drive project performance across safety, quality, programme and commercial metrics
- Manage project risk, resource planning and delivery governance
- Support business growth through client relationship management and opportunity identification
- Contribute to major bids, proposals and strategic pursuits
- Develop capability across project management and technical delivery functions
- Provide portfolio-level reporting, forecasting and performance insights to senior leadership
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
About You
To be successful, you'll bring:
- Significant experience leading the delivery of major infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated success managing multidisciplinary teams and programs of work
- Strong commercial and financial management capability
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and client relationship skills
- Experience operating within professional services, consulting, engineering, construction or asset-intensive environments
- A track record of driving team performance, operational excellence and sustainable growth
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management, construction or a related discipline
