Position Overview
As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, analysis, and execution of deep foundation systems. You'll work closely with project managers, field teams, and executive leadership to deliver innovative and reliable geotechnical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead geotechnical investigations and foundation design for large-scale commercial and mission-critical projects.
- Perform soil-structure interaction analysis and develop foundation recommendations.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Prepare and review engineering reports, proposals, and construction documentation.
- Engage directly with company leadership to influence project strategy and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, either on the consulting or foundations side.
- Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation design, and construction practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- P.E. license preferred (or willingness to obtain within a reasonable timeframe).
- Experience with geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, LPILE, gINT) is a plus.
