Senior Manager - Valuation/Litigation
Our client is seeking a Senior Manager to support the growth and leadership of its Litigation Valuation Services practice. This role is ideal for a seasoned valuation professional with deep experience in litigation support, expert analysis, and financial dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute complex litigation valuation assignments, including commercial disputes, shareholder disputes, intellectual property matters, bankruptcy, and forensic investigations.
- Prepare and review expert reports, financial models, and damages analyses for use in legal proceedings.
- Support expert witness engagements, including deposition and trial preparation.
- Collaborate with law firms, corporate counsel, and regulatory bodies to deliver high-quality litigation support services.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and managers, ensuring technical excellence and professional development.
- Assist in business development efforts, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and relationship management.
- Stay current on valuation standards, legal precedents, and industry trends relevant to litigation support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., ASA, CFA, CPA/ABV) strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in valuation or financial advisory, with a strong focus on litigation support and dispute consulting.
- Demonstrated experience preparing expert reports and supporting expert testimony in legal proceedings.
- Strong understanding of valuation methodologies, legal processes, and evidentiary standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and lead client engagements.
