About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead engineering efforts across a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects. The primary focus will be on distributed generation (DG) and community solar projects, while also supporting utility-scale solar projects as needed. You will manage an average of 6-10 projects, serving as the technical lead and design architect, ensuring successful delivery from concept through construction.

- Solar Plant Consulting & Repowering: Enhancing performance and production of legacy solar projects.
- EV Infrastructure: Building the fueling network of the future using extensive electrical and utility expertise.
- Construction Oversight & Owner Representation: Providing full-service oversight for new builds, retrofits, and repowering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering for DG and community solar projects, with flexibility to support utility-scale initiatives.
- Develop and implement overall design strategies, including PV system design and medium-voltage (MV) integration.
- Oversee procurement processes and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Advise and manage external Engineers of Record (EORs) to ensure compliance and quality.
- Provide construction support and resolve technical issues during execution.
- Maintain strong organizational and project management practices to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or related field.
- Experience: 5-10 years in engineering and project management within renewable energy or power systems.
- Technical Skills:
- PV design experience
- Medium-voltage (MV) systems knowledge
- Familiarity with distribution interconnection requirements
- Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational skills.
