About the Role
This firm is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead building envelope projects out of its Los Angeles office. This is a senior-level position for someone with deep expertise in enclosure design, repair, and retrofit who is comfortable managing both the technical and client-facing dimensions of complex engagements. Experience with historic preservation and high-performance integrated design is especially valued.
Responsibilities
- Manage building enclosure projects across design, investigation, repair, and retrofit scopes
- Serve as lead client contact and manage project teams through all phases of delivery
- Provide technical leadership on enclosure performance, detailing, and building science issues
- Mentor junior and mid-level staff within a collaborative project environment
- Support business development and client relationship efforts
- Contribute to high-performance and integrated building design initiatives
Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience in building enclosure design, repair, retrofit, or high-performance building delivery
- M.S. in Architectural Engineering or Architecture with a concentration in Building Science, Building Enclosures, or Historic Preservation required
- PE license or registered RA required
- Strong technical knowledge of building envelope systems and performance
- Experience managing projects and client relationships at a senior level
