Senior Project Manager- Hotel Construction
LVI is working with a dynamic and growing construction management firm specializing in high-quality hospitality projects across the Southeast. They are known for delivering exceptional results through teamwork, innovation, and a deep commitment to excellence. As they expand our portfolio in the Cary area, we are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to lead hotel construction projects from concept to completion.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of new hotel construction projects in Cary, NC. You will lead project teams, manage client relationships, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure that all work meets budget, schedule, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead hotel construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
Develop and manage detailed project schedules and budgets
Coordinate with architects, engineers, owners, and contractors
Ensure compliance with all local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
Monitor project performance and proactively address issues to avoid delays or cost overruns
Lead on-site meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Manage project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Mentor and support junior project staff and promote a collaborative team environment
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 8 years of construction project management experience, with at least 3 years in hospitality or hotel construction
Proven track record of delivering multi-million-dollar hotel projects on time and within budget
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and codes
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
PMP or similar certification is a plus
