Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex civil construction projects across South Florida. This role focuses on deep foundations, earth retention systems, ground improvement, and dewatering operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership, and a proactive approach to managing projects from pre-construction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project estimating and management for civil and geotechnical scopes, including deep foundations, shoring, soil stabilization, and groundwater control.
  • Conduct site visits throughout the Miami-Dade and surrounding areas to assess field conditions and project feasibility.
  • Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports to develop accurate scopes and strategies.
  • Solicit and evaluate bids from vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, bid proposals, and project budgets.
  • Collaborate with legal and executive teams to negotiate construction contracts.
  • Develop and submit project documentation including construction methodologies, design-build calculations, equipment specs, and material submittals.
  • Oversee field operations to ensure quality control, cost efficiency, and schedule adherence.
  • Promote and enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
  • Manage project billing cycles and ensure timely closeout documentation.
  • Participate in company-wide training and professional development programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in civil or geotechnical project management.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with South Florida soil conditions and construction practices is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites across the region.
