Role Summary
Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Leadership
- Lead and manage large, complex infrastructure programs involving multiple stakeholders and phased delivery schedules
- Oversee planning, design, and execution of system components such as supply, storage, conveyance, pumping, and treatment
- Ensure coordination across technical teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
- Drive financial performance, including budget management, forecasting, and profitability
Client & Business Development
- Serve as a strategic advisor to client organizations, building and maintaining long-term relationships
- Identify new business opportunities and lead pursuits to secure additional work
- Represent the organization in industry forums, professional associations, and community engagements
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams
- Mentor and develop mid-level professionals, supporting leadership growth and knowledge transfer
- Foster accountability, collaboration, and strong team culture
Financial & Operational Oversight
- Manage project financials, including contracts, invoicing, and revenue tracking
- Oversee project portfolios or programs consisting of multiple high-value initiatives
- Ensure operational efficiency and alignment with organizational goals
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe
- Typically 10-15 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, including project management
- Strong communication skills with experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and engaging with public-sector stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in project delivery, client relationship management, and business development
Preferred
- Extensive experience (15+ years) in infrastructure engineering and program management
- Experience delivering large, multi-phase, and highly complex projects
- Knowledge of long-term planning, regulatory compliance, and capital program delivery
- Proven ability to lead business development efforts and expand market presence
- Experience managing large project portfolios with significant financial scope
