The Role

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with a background in forensics and/or repair & restoration to lead a growing office in Florida. This role is ideal for someone who is outgoing, business-oriented, and confident in both technical execution and client engagement. The successful candidate will manage investigations, guide restoration strategies, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients while building and mentoring a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead forensic investigations and structural assessments.
  • Oversee repair and restoration design and execution.
  • Serve as the primary client contact and regional representative.
  • Manage and grow a multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop business opportunities and maintain client relationships.
  • Ensure technical quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Present findings and recommendations with clarity and confidence.
  • Represent the firm at industry events and professional forums.

Key Qualifications

  • PE license in Florida required; SE license is a plus.
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering; M.S in Structural Engineering preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in structural engineering, ideally in forensics and/or repair & restoration.
  • Proven expertise in forensics, repair, and restoration.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
  • Business development experience is a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with Florida building codes and market is a plus.
