[SIN] CSA Senior/Principal Engineer - Semicondcutor

Provide regional and global CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) engineering leadership for large‑scale advanced manufacturing facilities, supporting capital projects, reliability programs, and sustainability initiatives across multiple sites while ensuring alignment with global standards, safety, quality, and operational excellence objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead CSA engineering oversight for large greenfield and brownfield advanced manufacturing projects aligned to global standards.
  • Support end‑to‑end project delivery from concept design through construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Review, validate, and prioritize capital expenditure proposals for facility expansion, reliability, and sustainability programs.
  • Provide engineering support for technology transitions, capacity ramps, and site modernization initiatives.
  • Act as the primary CSA engineering interface between regional sites and centralized global teams.
  • Drive alignment on engineering KPIs, reporting, and governance across multiple facilities.
  • Oversee CSA system reliability improvement initiatives, quality enhancement programs, and EOL replacements.
  • Support business continuity, critical infrastructure, and risk mitigation initiatives across sites.
  • Lead technical reviews of major structural and architectural design packages and construction methodologies.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and design documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide technical oversight during construction including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and site changes.
  • Review BIM and 3D models for constructability, safety, maintainability, and cross‑discipline alignment.
  • Conduct site inspections and field assessments to validate design intent and construction quality.
  • Ensure CSA works comply with applicable codes, regulations, internal standards, and safety requirements.
  • Support live‑facility construction activities ensuring zero disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Assess existing structures for integrity, seismic, vibration, and acoustic performance and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and validate CSA cost estimates, schedules, and execution strategies.
  • Provide technical input for tool installation interfaces, production layouts, and R&D facility changes.
  • Lead cross‑functional engineering teams across project delivery, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support sustainability projects through engineering reviews, benchmarking, data validation, and performance reporting.
  • Capture lessons learned from site events and drive CSA standard and process improvements across the network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in advanced manufacturing or high‑tech industrial facilities.
  • Strong CSA engineering experience across design, construction, and operational environments.
  • Proven experience supporting EPC or EPCM project delivery models.
  • Demonstrated leadership on large, complex capital construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of steel, reinforced concrete, precast, and modular construction systems.
  • Experience with cleanroom support systems including raised floors, ceiling grids, and demountable walls.
  • Solid understanding of geotechnical engineering, piling, soil improvement, and site preparation.
  • Experience with seismic design, vibration analysis, and equipment‑sensitive structural design.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software and BIM‑based coordination tools.
  • Strong knowledge of international and local building codes and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across parallel projects and sites.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to address non‑standard engineering challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and technically guide engineering teams.
  • Willingness to travel internationally during critical project and construction phases.
