The Role:
As a mid-level Structural Designer, you'll play a key role in developing structural designs for a variety of building projects. You'll work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to produce high-quality design documentation and contribute to the success of projects from concept through construction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed structural drawings and models using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools
- Collaborate with engineers to translate design concepts into buildable solutions
- Perform structural calculations and assist in design development
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure design integration
- Support construction administration and respond to RFIs and field issues
- Maintain project documentation and adhere to company standards
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in structural design (buildings preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, STAAD)
- Strong understanding of building codes and construction practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
