Structural Engineer
Seeking a Structural Engineer to support the design and implementation of rooftop solar installations. In this role, you'll assess building structures to ensure they meet safety and performance standards for solar systems. Your work will be essential in delivering code-compliant, efficient, and reliable solar projects
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze building structures for solar system compatibility.
- Collaborate with project and construction teams on structural plans.
- Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and reports.
- Conduct site inspections and support construction teams.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- PE license in New Jersey (required); licenses in other states preferred.
- 3+ years of structural engineering experience (solar preferred).
- Proficient in structural analysis software and MS Office.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally; valid driver's license required.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
