Superintendent - Bridge/Highway Construction

Position Summary:
Our client is looking to add an experienced Bridge Superintendent to support a healthy pipeline of active and upcoming work. This person will lead day to day field operations on bridge and transportation projects, working closely with crews, project management, and subcontractors to keep work moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall field leadership on bridge and heavy civil projects
- Plan daily and weekly work activities to keep production on track
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials across the job-site
- Review plans, specifications, and schedules ahead of work being performed
- Work closely with project managers, owners, engineers, and inspectors throughout the job
- Monitor productivity, schedule progress, and manpower needs
- Help solve field issues quickly and keep work moving in the right direction
- Promote and enforce safe work practices across all site activities
- Maintain daily reports, progress updates, and general field documentation
- Ensure work is completed to project requirements and quality standards
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a Superintendent or senior field leadership role within bridge or heavy civil construction
- Strong background in bridge structures, transportation work, or related structural civil scopes
- Comfortable managing crews and coordinating multiple moving parts in the field
- Good understanding of sequencing, production planning, and job-site logistics
- Able to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Committed to safety, quality, and reliable project execution
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
