About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team and oversee the successful execution of commercial construction projects. The Superintendent is responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations on the job site, including scheduling, coordination, and supervision of subcontractors and field staff.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
  • Quality Control: Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate with project managers, and ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and records of job site activities.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, inspectors, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Technical: Proficiency in reading blueprints and using construction management software.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification preferred; First Aid/CPR certification a plus.
