About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Specialist to join our Building Automation team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Tridium Niagara Framework and Distech Controls, and a strong understanding of building automation systems (BAS), HVAC integration, and IoT technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement building automation systems using Tridium Niagara and Distech platforms.
- Develop and maintain system graphics, dashboards, and control logic.
- Perform system commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization for energy efficiency.
- Integrate BAS with third-party systems (lighting, security, energy management).
- Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and cybersecurity best practices.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience with Tridium Niagara Framework and Distech Controls.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, networking protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
- Proficiency in programming and configuring BAS controllers.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings.
Preferred:
- Niagara AX/N4 certification.
- Experience with SQL databases and API integrations.
- Familiarity with energy analytics and IoT solutions.
