About the Role
Our client, a leading employee-owned engineering consultancy, is seeking aāÆTechnical Structural LeadāÆto support their growingāÆWater/Wastewater teamāÆacross the Mid-Atlantic region. This is a high-impact leadership role for a licensed PE with deep expertise in structural engineering for municipal water infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical design forāÆconcrete, steel, masonry, and timber structuresāÆsupporting water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Perform structural analyses and calculations for foundations, framing systems, and equipment layouts.
- Prepare technical reports, design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage project schedules.
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in EngineeringāÆandāÆPE license in North CarolinaāÆ(or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
- 10+ years of experienceāÆin municipal water/wastewater structural design.
- Strong knowledge ofāÆstate building codes,āÆASCE-7,āÆACI,āÆAISC, andāÆTMSāÆstandards.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.
