Texas Wastewater Lead
About the Role:
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in water and wastewater treatment? We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead treatment-focused projects from conception through commissioning in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. This role involves overseeing design, construction, and startup phases while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
You'll manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with regulatory agencies, and drive projects that support environmental sustainability. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of delivering complex treatment projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead water/wastewater treatment projects from planning through completion.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to optimize project outcomes.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Provide technical leadership in treatment processes including filtration, chemical dosing, and biological treatment.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and vendors.
- Conduct site inspections and enforce quality control standards.
- Evaluate and implement innovative treatment technologies to enhance sustainability.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).
- Proven experience managing water/wastewater treatment projects.
- Strong knowledge of treatment technologies, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
- Expertise in biological treatment, filtration, chemical dosing, and sludge management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with project management and process simulation software.
- Experience working with government agencies and regulatory compliance.
