Transmission Planning Advisor
Currently looking for a Transmission Planning Advisor to join a growing team with a Midwest Transmission Owner! This position will support the organization's Transmission Regulatory team, collaborating closely with Transmission Planning and Legal teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a Transmission Planning Engineer with experience participating in stakeholder processes in the PJM and/or MISO region to stay engaged with technical transmission planning processes while focusing on regulatory stakeholder processes.
This is a fully remote position based out of Ohio - candidates must be based within the PJM/MISO footprint, with a strong preference for folks based in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, or surrounding states.
The Transmission Planning Advisor should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required
- 3-5+ years of direct experience in transmission planning studies as well as RTO/TO transmission stakeholder processes in PJM and MISO
- Knowledge of ISO/RTO protocols (MISO/PJM specifically)
- Understanding of power systems
- EIT/PE license preferred
- Based in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana or surrounding states (and/or open to relocate locally)
