We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Traveling Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team in Mississippi. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with hands-on experience in large diameter piping, heavy civil infrastructure, and wet underground utility systems. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing field operations, and is committed to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day field operations on large-scale civil and utility projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and field crews.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Manage installation of large diameter piping systems and underground utilities.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and manpower needs.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve field issues in real-time.
- Travel to various job sites across Mississippi as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of superintendent experience in heavy civil construction.
- Proven expertise in large diameter pipe installation, wet utilities, and earthwork.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site across multiple locations.
