Job Title: Traveling Construction Superintendent - Ground-Up Hotel Projects
Location: Texas Travel- Project in Corpus Christi
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Senior Project Manager / Director of Construction

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Traveling Construction Superintendent to lead the on-site execution of ground-up hotel construction projects exceeding $10 million in value. This role requires a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of hospitality construction, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex schedules and diverse teams across multiple states.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all phases of hotel construction from site mobilization through final turnover.
Manage daily on-site operations, including subcontractor coordination, material deliveries, and quality control.
Ensure strict compliance with project plans, specifications, safety standards, and building codes.
Maintain detailed daily reports, progress photos, and project documentation.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and ownership teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
Conduct regular site meetings, inspections, and punch list reviews.
Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact schedule, budget, or quality.
Travel extensively to project sites and remain on-site for the duration of each project.

Qualifications:
7+ years of experience as a Superintendent in ground-up commercial construction, with at least 3 years in hotel or hospitality projects.
Proven ability to manage projects over $10 million in value.
Strong knowledge of structural systems, MEP coordination, and interior finishes specific to hospitality.
Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
OSHA 30 certification required.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel and stay on-site for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with national hotel brands (e.g., Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt).
Familiarity with LEED or sustainable building practices.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
