Vice President of Sales (Live Events) - California
About the Role:
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead our growth in the corporate events and associations space. This role is ideal for a senior sales leader with deep experience in B2B event sales, a strong network within professional associations and Fortune 1000 companies, and a passion for delivering high-impact event solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on corporate clients and professional associations across California and national markets.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team, setting clear goals and driving accountability.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers in corporate marketing, HR, and association leadership.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, production, client services) to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
- Identify new revenue streams, including sponsorships, partnerships, and custom event solutions.
- Track performance metrics and report directly to the executive leadership team.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the corporate events or association space.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing enterprise-level accounts.
- Strong understanding of the corporate event lifecycle, including conferences, summits, incentive programs, and trade shows.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and major events.
