Salary range: $140,000-$155,000

Job Description:

They are seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and foundational experience in wastewater collection design and master planning, stormwater system design and master planning, flood control, dam/reservoir, irrigation facility studies and designs and production of final design products and study analyses and deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and involve in water and wastewater projects from inception to completion
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Provide technical support to project teams
  • Prepare and present project reports and documentation
  • Subordinate to the Project Manager and with guidance from an EIT, provide study-level reports and comprehensive designs of water and wastewater treatment systems and collection systems.
  • Assume accountability for completing challenging tasks and using discretion when assessing, choosing, and modifying accepted engineering practices.
  • When necessary, support project managers with their duties.
  • As needed, carry out additional tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in water/wastewater and potable water project management
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects
  • Strong knowledge of water and wastewater regulations and standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
