Waterway Structures Manager
About the Role:
Our client, an international leading engineering consultancy, is seeking an experienced Structural Engineering Manager to oversee complex projects in Dam Safety and Waterway Structures. This is a fully remote opportunity, offering flexibility while working with multidisciplinary teams across the country.
Responsibilities:
- Manage resources, schedules, budgets, risks, and change requests to ensure successful, on-time project delivery.
- Drive project success and maintain alignment with strategic objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including internal staff and external partners.
- Plan, organize, and supervise workloads for project staff.
- Monitor project costs to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 8+ years of experience managing task orders for Dam Safety and/or Waterway Structures projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proven track record in business development, including identifying, pursuing, and winning new work.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with team members in multiple locations.
- Previous experience in mentoring and coaching is a plus.
- Some travel may be required for site visits and client meetings.
