I'm working with a respected multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm looking to add a senior civil engineering leader to its Denver operation.
This individual will play a key role in driving business growth, leading major client relationships, overseeing project delivery, and mentoring a team of engineers and project managers. The position offers significant influence over both operational performance and strategic direction within a growing regional practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop client relationships across the Colorado market
- Drive business development efforts and help secure new project opportunities
- Serve as executive sponsor on key civil engineering projects
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and technical staff
- Oversee project performance, staffing, resource planning, and financial results
- Collaborate with senior leadership on growth initiatives and market strategy
- Represent the firm within the engineering community and industry organizations
- Help build and maintain a strong office culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and client service
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience leading engineering teams, client relationships, and project delivery
- Proven track record in business development and revenue growth
- Strong operational, financial, and leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
