We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Electrical Engineering to lead and grow our Electrical division. This leadership role combines deep technical expertise with strong client-facing and sales acumen. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in electrical engineering, a consultative approach to client engagement, and a proven track record in driving business growth through technical solutions involving electric motors and large drive systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and expand the Electrical division, setting strategic direction and driving growth initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and implement client-focused solutions.
- Serve as a senior technical advisor to key clients, providing high-level consultation and relationship management.
- Oversee and mentor a team of engineers and technical sales professionals.
- Identify market opportunities and contribute to business development strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Ensure alignment between engineering capabilities and sales objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
- Extensive experience in technical sales, client consulting, and business development.
- In-depth knowledge of electric motors and large drive systems.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a technical or engineering-focused environment.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
