Electrical Superintendent - Commercial, Healthcare & Data Center Construction

Location: Houston, TX
Salary Range: $130,000 - $180,000
Projects: Large-scale commercial, healthcare, and data center projects valued up to $250 million

Position Overview

As an Electrical Superintendent, reporting to the General Manager, you will lead field operations for major electrical construction projects. This role requires a strong background with an electrical contractor and proven experience in electrical construction.

Background in Electrical Construction or come from an Electrical Contractor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary leader for subcontractors and field crews on-site
  • Ensure compliance with company Safety Policy and maintain a safe work environment
  • Oversee multiple projects and manage manpower allocation
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including two-week look-ahead plans
  • Utilize computerized scheduling software for updates
  • Assist with subcontractor buyout and selection
  • Coordinate subcontractor field activities
  • Communicate effectively with owners, designers, and engineers
  • Maintain accurate cost reports

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent field experience
  • Minimum 3 years electrical construction experience
  • Must come from an electrical contractor background
  • Proven leadership skills in managing, mentoring, and developing teams
  • Experience with Conest and Accubid software
  • Familiarity with project management and scheduling tools (e.g., JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, Asta)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
