An established fire protection contractor is seeking an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven professional to help expand its presence in the Denver market. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong fire sprinkler background and existing relationships within the local construction community. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies in partnership with local leadership to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue targeted construction projects and service opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, owners, developers, consultants, and other industry stakeholders.
- Represent the company through industry associations, networking events, and client engagement activities.
- Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, sales calls, referrals, and strategic marketing efforts.
- Prepare estimates, proposals, quotations, and bid packages for fire sprinkler projects and service contracts.
- Provide technical support and consultation to customers throughout the sales process.
- Ensure projects meet profitability objectives from sales through execution.
- Coordinate project turnover and provide operational teams with all necessary project documentation.
- Participate in business development efforts to grow market share and establish new client accounts.
- Manage awarded projects throughout the project lifecycle as needed.
- Estimate service work, small projects, and change orders.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of fire sprinkler sales experience required.
- Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems, construction drawings, specifications, and applicable NFPA codes and standards.
- Demonstrated success in sales, business development, negotiation, and customer relationship management.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong drive for results.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Previous fire sprinkler design experience, including hydraulic calculations, is preferred.
- Fire sprinkler project management experience is preferred.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects from pursuit through completion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Adobe, and other industry-standard software.
- NICET certification is a plus but not required.
Additional Information
- Location: Denver, Colorado
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Supervisory Responsibility: Report directly to DGM; collaboration and coordination with design, field, and operations teams required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $85,000 - $115,000
- On-Target Earnings: Approximately $150,000 - $225,000+
- Uncapped commission structure based on project margin with accelerated earning potential.
