A growing site development contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations on heavy civil projects. This role is ideal for a strong field leader with experience in site development, earthwork, grading, and underground utilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
- Manage site development activities including grading, earthwork, and utility installation
- Maintain project schedules and communicate with project management teams
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Enforce safety standards and jobsite compliance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Foreman or Superintendent in heavy civil construction
- Strong background in site development, earthwork, grading, and underground utilities
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications
- Proven leadership and crew management experience
- OSHA certification preferred
