We are seeking a Mechanical/Industrial Ventilation Department Manager to lead our mechanical engineering team, with a strong focus on industrial ventilation systems. This role is responsible for technical leadership, project delivery, and team management, ensuring high-quality solutions for complex industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of engineers, designers, and technical staff.
Oversee the design of industrial ventilation, dust collection, HVAC, and process exhaust systems.
Provide technical leadership and ensure high-quality engineering deliverables.
Partner with project teams to successfully execute multidisciplinary projects.
Establish department standards, best practices, and engineering processes.
Support client relationships, proposals, and project estimating.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in industrial ventilation, HVAC, or related mechanical systems.
Proven leadership or department management experience.
Knowledge of ACGIH, NFPA, ASHRAE, and other relevant design standards.
Experience supporting industrial projects within manufacturing, chemical, pulp & paper, or similar environments.
Proficiency with engineering design and simulation software.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
