Project Engineer
A leading civil engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Municipal Project Engineer to support its growing portfolio of public infrastructure projects across Wisconsin. Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in municipal or transportation engineering, with a strong background in public infrastructure design and project delivery.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin, or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Proven experience managing municipal projects, including coordination with local governments, utilities, and regulatory agencies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and management of municipal infrastructure projects including roadway improvements, streets, utilities, and water distribution.
- Prepare engineering reports, construction documents, and cost estimates in accordance with local and state standards.
- Coordinate with municipal clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Participate in public meetings and represent the firm in client and community engagements.
