A leading organisation operating at the forefront of nature-based solutions, environmental markets, and landscape-scale project development is seeking to connect with experienced professionals who can help accelerate the growth of its carbon and natural capital platform.
This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team delivering commercially driven outcomes across nature-based carbon projects while working closely with landholders, corporates, investors, government stakeholders, and industry partners.
We are particularly interested in individuals with deep expertise in either the technical delivery or commercial/business development side of nature-based carbon markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to support the growth of carbon and natural capital initiatives.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with corporates, investors, landholders, government agencies, and strategic partners.
- Lead commercial discussions, partnership development, and market engagement activities.
- Support the origination, development, and delivery of nature-based carbon projects.
- Contribute to business growth through market intelligence, stakeholder engagement, and revenue-generating opportunities.
- Represent the organisation across industry forums, conferences, and key stakeholder engagements.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years' experience within carbon markets, natural capital, climate solutions, land restoration, environmental markets, sustainability consulting, project development, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience in either:
- Nature-based carbon project development, technical delivery, methodology, and project execution; or
- Commercial strategy, business development, partnerships, and revenue growth within carbon or environmental markets.
- Strong understanding of nature-based carbon markets and broader sustainability trends.
- Proven ability to build and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
- Experience engaging with corporates, investors, government bodies, or environmental market participants.
- Commercially minded with strong communication and influencing skills.
