Position Overview

The Senior Designer will be responsible for guiding the conceptual and schematic design phases of architectural projects, contributing to design development, and collaborating with project teams to ensure design integrity throughout the process. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong design portfolio and experience in commercial, office, retail, and multifamily work.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to the conceptual and schematic design of architectural projects.
  • Collaborate with project architects and technical teams to ensure design intent is carried through documentation and construction.
  • Participate in client presentations and design reviews.
  • Research materials, systems, and precedents to support design innovation.
  • Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to integrate design solutions.
  • Mentor junior designers and foster a collaborative studio environment.
  • Support quality control and maintain design standards.

Qualifications

  • Professional degree in Architecture or related design field.
  • 5+ years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on commercial, office, retail, and multifamily projects.
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating conceptual clarity and technical understanding.
  • Proficiency in design software including Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
  • Licensure is not required for this role.
