About the Opportunity
An established engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join its team in Guam. This is a unique opportunity to take on a highly visible leadership role within a growing practice while working on some of the Pacific region's most impactful infrastructure and development projects.
The successful candidate will serve as a technical leader, project manager, and mentor, helping guide project delivery while supporting the continued growth of the geotechnical practice. This position offers a strong balance of technical work, client engagement, and leadership responsibility.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead geotechnical investigations, analyses, and engineering design efforts
- Manage projects from proposal through final delivery
- Serve as a trusted advisor to public and private sector clients
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff
- Provide technical oversight and quality review of project deliverables
- Support business development and help expand the firm's regional presence
Project Scope
Projects may include:
- Transportation and roadway infrastructure
- Airports and aviation facilities
- Military and federal installations
- Ports, harbors, and marine infrastructure
- Utilities and public works improvements
- Commercial and institutional developments
- Coastal and resilience-focused infrastructure projects
- Large-scale design-build and critical infrastructure programs
What We're Looking For
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Strong geotechnical engineering and project management background
- Experience leading investigations, analyses, and design efforts
