Senior Master Scheduler (Infrastructure Solutions)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, manage, and oversee the project scheduling function, including supervising Scheduling Engineers, project staff, and consultants across one or more construction projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Perform all scheduling tasks such as progress monitoring, schedule tracking, and preparing both summary‑level and detailed project schedules.
  • Develop complete Critical Path Method (CPM) logic‑based baseline schedules.
  • Communicate the project execution plan, track performance against the baseline and monthly forecasts, and drive early identification and mitigation of schedule risks.
  • Collaborate with cross‑regional engineering teams to ensure consistent design approaches and optimized solutions.
  • Support the translation of design intent into manufacturing documentation in partnership with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Quality groups.
  • Track, analyze, and distribute schedule data to enable project teams to effectively manage progress and review weekly status reports.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional departments to identify project issues, monitor action items, and work with project management to drive resolution.
  • Develop fabrication, integration, and construction schedules across all phases, from RFP and project kickoff through substantial completion and final turnover.
  • Work with Pre‑Sales, Procurement, Engineering, Factory, and Construction teams to prepare detailed project schedules.
  • Perform monthly schedule updates with narratives, target comparisons, and periodic look‑ahead schedules.
  • Conduct schedule review meetings with project leadership and present schedule metrics and dashboard insights during internal and client‑facing meetings.
  • Participate in Pre‑Sales and Business Development efforts, including proposal activities, presentations, and development of scheduling‑related contract language.
  • Provide training and support on scheduling tools and best‑practice planning techniques to project and office personnel.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders to promote the value of schedule management and clear communication of project plans.
  • Serve as a Planning & Scheduling subject matter expert with clients, educating them on scheduling standards and best practices aligned with owner requirements.
  • Conduct factory or site walk‑downs to document progress, verify work with the project team, and update the schedule accordingly.
  • Challenge project teams using historical, current, and forecasted schedule performance data.
  • Perform schedule audits using diagnostic and comparison software to assess schedule quality, identify risks or gaps, and provide feedback to improve scheduling practices.
  • Implement and train the scheduling team on advanced techniques such as weather modeling, Time Impact Analysis (TIA), and cost/resource loading to better identify potential delays.
  • Provide historical scheduling information as needed to support or defend project claims.
  • Prepare schedule impact analyses as part of the change management process.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field, combined with at least 8 years of relevant experience (or an equivalent blend of education, training, and experience).
  • Experience with large‑scale construction projects (>$100M).
  • Scheduling certification preferred (AACE, PSP, PMI‑SP, or similar).
  • Background in construction project engineering and supervisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, materials, market conditions, and trade practices.
  • Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to develop accurate schedules.
  • Proficiency with scheduling applications such as Microsoft Project and Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Competency using schedule analytics tools such as Acumen Fuse, Change Inspector, or similar.
  • Advanced experience with schedule risk assessments and gap analysis.
  • Strong understanding of estimating principles as they relate to schedule development.
  • Familiarity with earned value management and productivity validation using construction resources.
  • Ability to create metrics dashboards and track performance results.
  • Strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and effective problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies such as lean construction.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven ability to lead and oversee multiple simultaneous projects and workstreams.
  • At least 8 years of experience in data center projects or technically complex infrastructure programs.
  • Minimum of 4 years leading engineering teams or technical project groups.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify and present complex technical information.
  • Strong presentation, public‑speaking, and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
  • Professional behavior including collaboration, accountability, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to perform effectively in high‑pressure environments while meeting deadlines.

POSITION ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain a passport for international travel.
  • Domestic travel up to approximately 30%.
  • International travel as needed.
