Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager - Remote
A growing engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead the delivery of municipal infrastructure projects while supporting client growth and mentoring technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects.
- Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to municipal stakeholders.
- Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, and quality control.
- Provide technical leadership and QA/QC reviews on complex projects.
- Support business development efforts, including proposals, presentations, and project pursuits.
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineering staff.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- PE license preferred (or ability to obtain).
- 10+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience, ideally with treatment plant design exposure.
- Experience working with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and infrastructure funding programs.
- Strong leadership, project management, and client-facing skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, treatment processes, and industrial controls/instrumentation is a plus.
- Willingness to travel periodically for client meetings and project visits.
