Structural Engineer
I'm currently partnering with a highly respected, nationally recognized architecture and engineering consultancy seeking a Structural Engineer to join its growing team in Philadelphia.
This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed PE who enjoys a mix of building design, project delivery, coordination, and mentorship while working on a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple market sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Structural design and analysis for building projects
- Preparation of construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
- Perform structural calculations and utilize industry-standard design software
- Existing building assessments and site investigations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams
- Review submittals and respond to RFIs
- Conduct site visits and prepare field reports
- Support and mentor junior engineers and EITs
- Independently manage smaller projects while contributing to larger complex assignments
Requirements
- BS in Civil Engineering (Structural), Architectural Engineering, or related discipline
- PE license required
- Approximately 4-10 years of structural engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of building codes and structural design standards
- Experience with structural analysis and design software
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
- Building design experience preferred
