Technology Designer II
Position Overview
- Title: Technology Designer II
- Department: Electrical Engineering
- Location: Tampa, FL (Orlando, Houston, Dallas also considered)
- Focus: Lead technology design for Communications, Security, and AV systems; produce construction documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and coordinate Revit-based BIM drawings across all project phases.
- Handle Construction Administration (submittals, RFIs).
- Communicate project status and maintain workflows.
- Attend meetings with stakeholders and perform site visits.
- Maintain accurate time tracking and documentation.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2-5 years in technology design for commercial buildings (aviation, healthcare, higher ed, hospitality, entertainment, government).
- Certifications: RCDD strongly preferred.
- Skills:
- Advanced Revit MEP proficiency (required).
- Low-voltage technology experience preferred.
- Strong technical/computer skills (Microsoft O365).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
