Travelling Superintendent- Complex Industrial Projects >$80M
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee the on-site execution of large-scale industrial projects across the U.S. This role is ideal for a seasoned construction professional with a strong background in complex industrial facilities, including manufacturing, food processing, and distribution centers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily on-site construction operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and client representatives to maintain workflow and resolve site issues.
Enforce compliance with OSHA standards and site-specific safety programs.
Review construction documents and proactively address potential challenges or discrepancies.
Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and field documentation.
Conduct site inspections to ensure high-quality standards and alignment with design intent.
Support the commissioning and turnover process of completed facilities.
Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of experience in a superintendent role, with a focus on industrial or manufacturing construction.
Proven track record of leading multi-million-dollar construction projects from ground-up through closeout.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (typically 100%) to various project locations across the country.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and trade coordination.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore or similar construction management software is a plus.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
