Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Professional Civil Engineer (P.E.) with a strong background in land development to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead and support the design and permitting of land development projects, working closely with clients, municipalities, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage land development projects from concept through construction.
  • Prepare and review site layout plans, grading plans, utility designs, and roadway alignments.
  • Conduct due diligence and feasibility studies for proposed developments.
  • Coordinate with surveyors, architects, environmental consultants, and other disciplines.
  • Prepare permitting documents and interface with local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Perform stormwater management design and modeling in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop construction documents, cost estimates, and technical specifications.
  • Review contractor submittals and support construction administration activities.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Active Florida P.E. License.
  • 5+ years of experience in land development engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software.
  • Strong understanding of Florida land development codes and permitting processes.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
